Team Dignity

Anita Justice is interested in social studies, with a focus on African American art, artifacts, images, and individuals. In 2020, she rolled up a few nickels, dimes, and quarters and started Dignity Justified as part of her journey to find inspiring and sometimes neglected stories. She focuses on moments in time and societal issues that resonate deep within communities.

Prior to establishing Dignity Justified, Anita spent over twenty years in the classroom. Her service was recognized by various awards, including local, state, and regional Teacher of the Year distinctions. In some ways, she views Dignity Justified as a classroom too - this time with more interviews and less 12- and 13-year-olds. Though she misses the smiling faces of her students, she treasures the new relationships that have been formed through Dignity Justified (lots of charming and creative curators, entrepreneurs, artists, reporters, community leaders, and of course, history lovers).

Thank you so much for being interested in this venture. Let’s look forward to strolling around, traipsing about, and learning more about images that illuminate journeys!

Byron T.williams, podcasting and social media

As we explore various ways in which media will be used to communicate with audiences, we rely upon our media production consultant, Byron for his patience, fun spirit, and expertise.

Byron has guided the business through its Podcasting venture with humor and great coaching. The Dignity Justified Podcast -with Calvin and Anita has been a great learning opportunity as we have moved from using an old Walkman headset (lol) to producing a show that we hope will be meaningful to our listeners.
